Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident in South AfricaYou must be enrolled or intend to pursue studies towards a Master’s or PhD qualification, within one of the fields of study listed aboveYou must be registered to study at the University of JohannesburgMaster’s degree applicants:you must have completed an Honours degree in Marketing or Retailing with a minimum of 60% for Research Methodology on NQF level 8 and an overall degree average of 60% or higherPh.D. degree applicants:you must have completed a Master’s degree in the subject field of Marketing or Retailing with a minimum of 65% for your Master’s AND a minimum of 60% for Research Methodology on NQF level 8You must have an approved Master’s or Ph.D. proposal with a focus on the preference areas aboveYou must be passionate about Retail
