✓ South African citizen ✓ Strong academic and leadership potential ✓ Matric: at least 65% in Mathematics and 65% in English (HL or FAL); current Grade 12 learners need 65% or more in Mathematics and Physical Science ✓ Current university students: overall average consistently above 65% ✓ Full-time study at a selected South African university, first to final year (or eligible postgraduate study) ✓ Financial need (awards are based on merit and financial need) ✓ Priority for students with disabilities, LEAP Science and Maths Schools learners and former AWS interns
