MegChem is an engineering and projects company that applies engineering resources optimally to translate client needs into process plant that meets agreed objectives. MegChem operates in various industries, including: the oil, gas, power generation, petrochemical and related industries. The companies engineering expertise includes Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Piping Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering and Forensic Engineering, CE&I Engineering and Civil Engineering/ Infrastructure.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be between 19 and 25 years oldYou must have completed Matric or N3You must have achieved a minimum result of 50% for Mathematics in Matric/ N3 (students who completed Mathematical Literacy will NOT be accepted)You must have achieved a minimum result of 50% for Engineering & Graphics Design (EGD) in Matric/ N3Advantageous: completed Physical Science as a subject in Matric/ N3You must be able to attend the full learnership programme in Secunda, MpumalangaYou must be available to start the programme in January 2024Preference will be given to learners from previously disadvantaged backgrounds
