Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): Undergraduate students:You must be aSouth African citizen or a South African permanent residentYou must fall into one of these categories:studying towards an LLB qualification, currently in your 2nd or 3rd yearand beentering your 3rd or 4th year of study(the bursary will NOT fund 1st year students)completed a BA/ BCom degree and be transitioning to complete the last 2 years of an LLB degreecurrently in the3rd year of the extended LLB programme to apply for 4th and 5th year of studyYou must haveachieved a minimum average of 50% in your latest academic resultsYou must be studying at arecognised and accredited public University in South AfricaYou must be read and agree to therules of the bursary Postgraduate students:You must be aSouth African citizen or a South African permanent residentYou must havecompleted an LLB degreeYou must haveachieved a minimum average of 50% in your latest academic resultsYou must be studying at arecognised and accreditedpublicUniversity in South AfricaYou must be apractising attorney or a candidate attorneyYou must beemployed at a legal practicing firm(the bursary will NOT fund students employed in state entities)You must be read and agree to therules of the bursary
