Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must permanently reside in George, in the Western Cape provinceYou must be currently in Matric or have completed Matric (in 2023 or 2024) at a school within the George Municipality areaPrevious George Municipality bursary recipients may also applyYou must be studying or intend on studying within a Municipal (local government sector) and related study fieldYou must have a total household income of NOT more than R350 000 per annumPreference will be given to students from designated groups
