Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet the minimum eligibility requirements before applying. You must: Be aSouth African citizen;Be Black in accordance with the B-BBEE Act, namelyAfrican, Coloured or Indian (ACI);Be between18 and 35 years old on 31 December 2027;Have completed Matric;Have obtained at least60% for NSC Mathematics;Have taken Mathematics and not Mathematical Literacy;Have achieved a minimum average of60% in your undergraduate degree;Be entering yourfirst full-time, one-year Honours degree in 2027;Study towards a qualification in one of the eligible fields;Be studying at a minimumNQF Level 8;Attend a recognised and accreditedpublic university in South Africa;Meet the admission requirements for the intended qualification; andHave a combined household income ofnot more than R700,000 per annum.
