Eligibility criteria
Applicants must meet all the minimum eligibility requirements before applying. You must: Be aSouth African citizen;Befemale;BeBlack in terms of the BBBEE codes, including African, Coloured and Indian applicants;Be currently completing Matric in 2026 or have already completed Matric;Be studying or intending to study towards an eligibleUndergraduate or Honours qualification;Be studying or planning to study Chemistry, Engineering or an eligible Science qualification;Be studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa;Demonstrate financial need;Have a combined household income ofnot more than R630,000 per annum;Have a strong academic record;Haveno criminal record; andNot be receiving another bursary or scholarship for the 2027 academic year.
