Eligibility criteria

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizen or a permanent resident of South AfricaYou must intend on studying towards an LLD degree at Stellenbosch University and meet the normal application conditionsYou must qualify for admission to study towards an LLD degree at the Stellenbosch University Law Faculty in terms of the conditions in theLaw Faculty Yearbook (part 8)read with thePostgraduate Guide of the Faculty of LawYou must be willing to reside in Stellenbosch for the entire duration of the LLD degree (which must be completed within 3 years)You must acknowledge the support of the Bradlow Foundation in your LLD dissertation, and submit a copy of the dissertation to the FoundationPreference will be given to students whose proposed LLD dissertations fall within the Research Focus Areas of HF Oppenheimer Chair listed above
