Summary
The Willowton Group began in 1970, when the late DM Moosa, his brothers Ahmad and Mohamed, and later their sons, turned a small family venture—Willowton Oil and Cake Mills—into a thriving business. Over more than five decades, the company has grown into one of South Africa’s FMCG giants, and is now the country’s largest sunflower seed crusher. SANZAF, meanwhile, is a faith-based non-profit that has been serving communities for over 47 years. Through collecting and distributing Zakáh and Sadaqát, the organisation provides education, welfare, and empowerment initiatives that give disadvantaged families the tools to become self-sufficient.
