VBKOM was formed by 5 mining engineers in 2008, with the aim of delivering expert technical mining consulting services to pan-African and international clients. VBKOM remains committed to identifying opportunities to expand their service offering and geographical footprint and thus, offer true value to clients in the mining and other capital-intensive industries. VBKOM is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the2025 academic year.

Funding details
The bursary will provide full cover for the following expenses: registration fees, tuition fees and accommodation. Bursary recipients will also have the opportunity to gain vacation work experience and exposure, at VBKOM’s discretion. The bursary is renewable each year and students are required to submit their semester marks. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted and invited to attend an interview.
