The scholarship will provide cover for the following expenses: high school fees, financial academic support, school uniform contribution, stationary contribution and subject-specific stationary contribution. The SEF scholarship offers a unique mentorship programme that uses an individual approach to create an enrichment support plan catered for the student’s needs. This approach, that uses both individual and intentional communication, allows the SEF to be proactive by meeting each scholar, their families, and schools on a regular basis. This ensures that the programme takes a holistic approach and provides the student with support in academics, emotional well-being, skills development, and relationship building. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be currently in Grade 6 in 2024You must have achieved a minimum of Code 6 for your Grade 6 Term 2 report, for the following subjects: Home Language, Mathematics and Natural SciencesYou must have a gross family household income of no more than R20 000 per month (before deductions)You must be commencing Grade 8 in 2026You must plan to study at any of the above aforementioned high schoolsYou must reside within the Western Cape
