SPEBS (SAICE Patrons Engineering Bursary Scheme) South Africa 2027

The South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE) is inviting students to apply for the SPEBS (SAICE Patrons Engineering Bursary Scheme) bursary programme, for the2026 academic year(semester 2). Bursaries are awarded each semester, forCivil Engineeringstudies (Degree or National Diploma). The bursary was founded in 1992, administered by the South African Institution of Civil Engineering, to provide financial assistance to academically deserving students.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou must havecompleted MatricYou must bestudying towards a Civil Engineering qualification (Degree or National Diploma)You must havepassed and completed all previous subjectsDegree students:you must have passed your first semester exams and be entering 2nd, 3rd or 4th year of studyNational Diploma students:you must have passed your first level (S1) National Diploma examination and be entering S2, S3 and S4You must be studying at arecognised and accredited tertiary institution in South AfricaYou must haveproven financial needYou must have astrong academic record
