The SIOC Community Development Trust (SIOC-CDT) is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the2027 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded tostudents residing in SIOC-CDT’s beneficiary communities (in the Northern Cape and Limpopo), forUndergraduate studieswithin the following fields: ** RELATED BURSARIES **

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou mustNOT older be than 35 years old, at the closing dateYou mustreside in or originate from SIOC-CDT beneficiary communities:Gamagara Local Municipality (Northern Cape)Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality (Northern Cape)Joe Morolong Local Municipality (Northern Cape)Tsantsabane Local Municipality (Northern Cape)Thabazimbi Local Municipality (Limpopo)You must becurrently in Matric or have completed MatricYou must bestudying or intend on studying on a full-time basis, towards anundergraduate qualification within one of the fields of study listed aboveYou must have achieved aminimum overall average of 65%, in your most recent academic resultsYou must have been accepted or provisional accepted to study at arecognised public institution in South Africa(University/ University of Technology/ TVET/ FET College)You must be in need of financial assistance, with ahousehold income of less than R600 000 per year(before deductions)Students with disabilities are encouraged to apply
