Scatec (previously Scatec Solar) develops, builds, owns, operates and maintains power plants that generate clean and reliable electricity. The company is committed to increasing access to clean, affordable, and renewable electricity generation in emerging markets. The company is involved in solar, wind and hydro electricity generation, in 18 countries (Argentina, Brazil, Czech Republic, Egypt, Honduras, Jordan, Laos, Lesotho, Malaysia, Mozambique, Pakistan, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Tunisia, Uganda, Ukraine and Vietnam).

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must have completed a relevant undergraduate degreeYou must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards a Postgraduate degrees in one of the fields listed above, in 2023You must be studying or intend on studying at a University that is recognised or accredited by the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA) (check if your university is accredited here)Preference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged designated groups within South Africa
