Today, Sasol is a global chemicals and energy company, that is listed on both the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) in South Africa and the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in the United States. Sasol is made up of two distinct market-focused businesses: Chemicals and Energy. The Chemicals Business, made up of Base Chemicals and Performance Chemicals, is aimed at meeting evolving consumer needs, including the demands of a growing and urbanising middle class.
