The Macmillan Foundation is a registered non-profit company established by SNAPP Architects to support training, empowerment, and education in architecture. Focused on uplifting previously disadvantaged women under the age of 35, the Foundation offers bursaries to help qualifying students complete their postgraduate degrees. Through mentorship, knowledge-sharing, and a strong support framework, the Macmillan Foundation is committed to shaping the next generation of critical thinkers and designers in South Africa. The MacMillan Foundation is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the2026 academic year.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must be Black (as defined in RSA B-BBEE Codes)You must be femaleYou must be studying or intend on studying towards a Postgraduate Degree in ArchitectureYou must be studying at an accredited university in South AfricaYou must be able to complete your Degree before turning 35 years oldYou must have a strong academic recordYou must have no previous criminal record
