The Livestock Registering Federation (LRF) is a non-profit organization that was established in 2000. Its principal business and purpose is to unite, protect, and promote its members (who act as Registering Authorities) into an affiliated federation. This federation operates under high standards of performance and conduct, promoting the interests and ideas of all its members. For more than 20 years, Dr. Bradfield worked as a genetics consultant, playing a vital role in the creation and ongoing management of BREEDPLAN (a genetic evaluation system) and HerdMASTER (an on-farm software) within the country. Dr Bradfield was a hard-working and dedicated leader, passionate about helping those less fortunate.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must have completed a BSc Agric in Animal Science qualificationYou must have obtained your qualification from a SACNSP registered South African universityYou must be pursuing postgraduate studies within Animal Genetics and BreedingYou must have a minimum GPA of 65%You must have obtained a minimum result of 70% for Animal Breeding and Genetics modules, on a third and final year levelYou must demonstrate strong academic abilityYou must intend to complete and graduate within two to three years

Enter “www.zabursaries.co.za” in the field asking how you heard about the LRF bursary.
