The KwaZulu-Natal Tourism Authority (TKZN) and the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission (KZNFC) have now combined forces to form a unified organization aimed at enhancing the province’s promotion through dynamic film and media projects. This new entity, the KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority, was officially established following the passing of an Act in May 2024. Its primary responsibilities include crafting a comprehensive provincial tourism and audiovisual strategy, while also positioning KwaZulu-Natal as a prime destination for film tourism.
