KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority Bursary South Africa 2027

The KwaZulu-Natal Tourism and Film Authority is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme, for the2027 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded tostudents residing in KwaZulu-Natal, for studies atinstitutions within KZN, within the following fields: The bursary programme was originally introduced by the KwaZulu-Natal Film Commission in 2014 to help address skills shortages within the province’s film and audiovisual sector. Through financial support for relevant studies, the programme aims to encourage young people to pursue careers that can contribute to the continued development of KwaZulu-Natal’s creative industries.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou mustreside with KwaZulu-Natal provinceYou must becurrently in Matric or have completed MatricYou must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification within one of thefields of study listed aboveYou must be studying or registering to study at arecognised and accredited public/ private tertiary institution in KwaZulu-NatalPreference will be given to: students living with disabilities and previously disadvantaged students
