The JSE Empowerment Fund (JEF) is inviting students to apply for theirbursaryprogramme, for the2027 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded forUndergraduate and Postgraduate (Honours level) studies, within the following fields, at selected universities (as listed below): ** RELATED BURSARIES **

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou must befrom a previously disadvantaged backgroundYou must befrom the designated groupYou must havecompleted MatricYou must bestudying full-time towards a degree qualification, within one of the fields of study listed aboveYou must beentering your 2nd, 3rd or Postgraduate (Honours) level of study in 2027You must bestudying at one of these Universities in South Africa:University of Pretoria (UP)University of Johannesburg (UJ)University of the Witwatersrand (Wits)University of Cape Town (UCT)University of Limpopo (UL)University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN)University of the Free State (UFS)University of Fort Hare (UFH)Nelson Mandela University (NMU)North-West University (NWU)You must have astrong academic recordYou must haveachieved a minimum overall average of 70%You must have atotal household income of NOT more than R650 000 per annum
