Investec High School Bursary South Africa 2027

Investec is inviting high school students to apply for theHigh School Bursary Programme, for the 2027 academic year. The bursary is open to students enteringGrade 10, Grade 11 and Grade 12 in 2027. The bursary is mainly aimed at Grades 10 to 12students from township and rural schools, who show good academic potential, particularly in the fields ofMathematics and Physical Science.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou must beentering Grade 10, Grade 11 or Grade 12 in 2027You must have astrong academic recordYou must study Pure Mathematics, Physical Science, Accounting and English as subjects from Grade 10 to Grade 12 and show strong academic potential in these subjectsYou must have achieved aminimum result of 70% for Mathematics(NOT Mathematics Literacy)You must have achieved aminimum result of 70% for EnglishYou must have achieved aminimum result of 70% for all other subjectsYou must haveproven financial needYou must beenrolled at your school for at least 1 year(students will continue studying at their current school, they will not move schools)Yourschoolshould have a good performance track recordand must meets the following criteria:The school must have a minimum 90% Matric pass rateThe school must have a minimum of 80% of Matric students qualifying for university entranceThe school must have a minimum of 75% of their students doing Pure Mathematics as a subjectThe school must have a minimum of 75% of their students achieving at least 50% for Pure Mathematics (NOT Mathematical Literacy)The school must have a minimum of 80% of their students achieving at least 50% for EnglishThe school must demonstrate a holistic supportive environment for students
