Gold One Group Limited is a mining group with gold operations and gold prospects throughout Southern Africa. Gold One New Shelf 1186 (Gedex) Operations is an underground gold mine located in Brakpan in Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, approximately 30kms east of Johannesburg in the Gauteng Province.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered):External applicants(students who are NOT employees or direct dependents of Gold One employees): You must be a South African citizenYou must reside within the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality, in Gauteng provinceYou must be currently in Matric or have completed MatricYou must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification within one of the fields of study listed aboveYou must be registered to study at a recognised and accredited institution of higher learning in South AfricaYou must be in financial needPreference will be given to students residing within mine hosting communities (Springs, Benoni, Brakpan and Nigel, as well as townships of these towns) Internal applicants(students who employees or direct dependents of Gold One employees): You must be a permanent employee or a direct dependent of a Gold One employeeYou must be currently in Matric or have completed MatricYou must be registered to study at a recognised and accredited institution of higher learning in South Africa
