The Finance and Accounting Services Sector Education and Training Authority (FASSET)’s mission is to increase the amount of employees entering into the finance and accountancy sector; to facilitate transformation within the accountancy and finance sector; as well as to grow and expand the skill set required within the sector. As one of South Africa’s SETAs, the company is required to ensure that employees within its sector have the necessary training and education to perform their job. Launched in 2000, FASSET is committed to Accounting, Financial, Consulting, Management and other Financial Services.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must have completed Matric in2025(students who completed Matric any other year will NOT be funded)You must have achieved a minimum overall average of 75% in MatricYou must have passed Mathematics and Accounting in Matric, with top resultsYou must intend on studying towards a qualification within one of the fields of study listed aboveYou must be registered or accepted to study at Public University or University of Technology in South AfricaYou must have a total household income of NOT more than R1 million per annum
