Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must reside within the communities of Molteno or Sterkstroom, in the Eastern Cape provinceYou must be currently in Matric or have completed MatricUniversity students: you must have achieved a minimum academic average of 60% for the required subjects aligned to the qualification you plan to study at universityUniversity students: you must have achieved a minimum academic average of 60% in the 2025 academic yearFET/ TVET students: you must have achieved a minimum of academic average of 50% in subjects relevant to the qualification you intend to pursue at the college levelFET/ TVET students: you must have achieved a minimum of 50% in 3 compulsory vocational modules if you are currently studying at collegePriority is given to learners wishing to pursue teaching, engineering, science, trades,and related careersYou must be enrolled or accepted to study at a recognised tertiary institution in South AfricaYou must have proven financial needYou must NOT be receiving any other bursary fundingConsideration will be given to students from previously disadvantaged backgrounds and students with disabilities
