Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying for thebursary(please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou must befrom a previously disadvantaged background or rural communityYou must becurrently in Matric or have completed MatricYou must bestudying or intend on studying full-time towards a qualification within one of the fields of study listed aboveYou must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised and accredited university in South AfricaYou must have achieved the followingminimum results in Matric NSC finals:BSc students: a minimum of level 5 (60-69%) for Mathematics and Physical Science/ GeographyBachelors degree students: a minimum of level 4 (50-59%) for Mathematics and PhysicalScienceDiploma students: a minimum of level 4 (50-59%) for Mathematics and PhysicalScienceYou must NOT be a staff member of the department
