Coronation Exceptional Student Bursary South Africa 2027

Coronation Fund Managers is inviting students to apply for theCoronation Exceptional StudentBursary, for the 2027 academic year. The bursary will coverundergraduate Commerce-related degreesand is aimed at deserving students from disadvantaged backgrounds. (See our list ofCommerce-related qualifications here.)

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou must becurrently in Matric or have completed MatricYou must be studying or intend on studying full time, towards anundergraduate Commerce-related degree qualification(the bursary will NOT fund N4/5/6, Higher Certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma, Masters or Doctoral students)You must be studying or have applied to study at a recognised and accredited university in South Africa(the bursary will NOT fund studies at TVETs, Community Colleges, Private Colleges, Graduate/Business School, International universities, or Distance-learning qualifications (UNISA, etc))You must have an excellent academic recordCurrent Matric students:you must have achieved aminimum overall average of 75%Current University students:you must have achieved aminimum overall average of 70%You must have strong leadership potentialYou must be a well rounded studentPreference will be given to students from previously disadvantaged backgroundsPreference will be given to students registered in the following fields: Data Analysis / IT Stream Degrees, Commerce Stream Degrees, Finance Stream Degrees, Computer Science Stream Degrees, Software/ Computer Engineering Stream DegreesPreference will be given to students in line with the sponsor’s transformation/ employment equity objectives and requirementsPreference will be given to students in their 2nd year onwardsPreference will be given to students on track to finish their qualification in the minimum-time required (not N+1 or higher)
