The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is inviting students to apply for theirbursaryprogramme, for the2027 academic year. 200 bursaries will be awarded tostudents residing in Johannesburg, for undergraduate studieswithin the following fields: The City of Johannesburg (CoJ) is committed to providing training opportunities, by way of Financial Assistance (bursary funding) to youth residing in the Johannesburg community, in an effort to fulfil its socio-economic mandate.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be aSouth African citizenYou mustpermanently reside in Johannesburg, GautengYou must becurrently in Matric or have completed MatricYou must be studying or intend on studying full-time, towards anundergraduate qualification within one of the fields of study listed above(the bursary does NOT fund postgraduate studies)Yourqualification/ course of study be at least 1 year longYou must be studying or intend on studying at arecognised tertiary institution in South AfricaYou must have astrong academic recordYou must NOT be receiving any other bursary/ grant/ other form of funding for study purposes
