City of Ekurhuleni Bursary South Africa 2026

The City of Ekurhuleni is inviting students to apply for theCommunity Bursary Programme, for the 2026 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded tostudents residing within City of Ekurhuleni (Gauteng), for undergraduate studies within the following fields: Through the bursary programme, the City aims to provide support to talented youth in the area, in order to promote access to higher education and develop skills that meet the city’s municipal service delivery needs.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must bebetween 18 and 35 years oldYou mustreside within City of Ekurhuleni, in Gauteng provinceYou must have completed MatricYou must intend onstudying full-time, towards anundergraduatequalification in one of the fields of study listed aboveYou must be registered or accepted to study at an accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (University, University of Technology, and TVET College)You must have a strong academic record
