Funding details
The amount of the annual scholarship award will be determined by the funds that are available at the BBT and the needs of the candidate, as such, the scholarship amount may vary each year. The BBT will use a benchmark tool to determine the allocation of costs, with scholarship recipients receiving funding for the following: tuition fees, books and boarding fees (including meals). Should the candidate be receiving another scholarship (one which excludes a Stellenbosch University (SU) merit scholarship) and their total scholarship amount exceeds the criteria, the BBT scholarship will then be reduced by that same amount. The BBT scholarship fund will be paid directly to the student’s fee account at SU.
