Today, Armscor are the South African Department of Defence’s (DOD) arms procurement agency. Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must be currently in Matric (in 2025) or have completed MatricYou must have achieved a minimum of levels 5, 6, and 7 in Mathematics, Physical Science and English in MatricYou must be studying or intend on studying full time, towards a qualification within one of the fields listed above, in 2026You must be studying or intend on studying at a recognised public tertiary institute within South AfricaYou must have a strong academic recordYou must have proven financial need, with a combined household income of NOT more than R1 million per yearYou must be interested in pursuing a career within the defence industryYou must be from a previously disadvantaged background
