Afrimat Mining Services, is inviting students to apply for their bursary programme for the2027 academic year. Bursaries will be awarded for studies within theMechanical Engineeringfield. Afrimat is seeking to support talented and motivated students, with a passion for the industry.

Applicants must satisfy the following minimum entry criteria before applying (please note that failure to satisfy all the requirements will lead to your application not being considered): You must be a South African citizenYou must have completed MatricYou must be studying towards a National Diploma, BTech or Bachelor’s Degree qualification inMechanical EngineeringYou must be registered and studying at a recognised and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (University, Higher Education Institution / TVET College)You must have a strong academic recordYou must bepassionate about mechanical engineeringYou must be ready to build the future of industry and innovation in South AfricaYou must be willing to partake in vocational work and travel to site during university holidaysYou must bemedically fitin terms of the Mine Health and Safety Act and the Company standards for medical fitness
